Sync your Open Office docs with Google Docs

Sync Microsoft Documents with Google Docs automatically

Now no matter what brand of Office documents you use (except the 15 of you using Corel’s WordPerfect) can be sync’d with Google Docs and stored online for eternity. Granted being able to edit docs on any PC you ever touch is awesome, and you can use your favorite software – Google Docs, MS Word, or OO.org Writer to manipulate it.

FYI OpenOffice.org Sync is a Firefox Extension and MS Office Sync is an actual program installed on your PC.

(update: yes I tagged Microsoft, open source and Google in the same post)

Vista User ‘Upgrades’ to Xp

Review: Windows XP

I personally have seen no incentive to install Vista on any piece of computer equipment I own and will continue to run my ‘outdated OS’ until it is pried out of my cold dead fingers. If anything the next OS upgrade will be to Gentoo, or some other flavor of Linux, or heaven forbid I might actually purchase a Mac (gasp).
